The Consulting Consortium launches groundbreaking immersive learning initiative in drive for 'Serious Learning' September 08
London, 9 September 2008 - London and Yorkshire-based financial compliance advisory firm, The Consulting Consortium today announced the launch of its 'Serious Learning' immersive learning platform, the first of its kind to be used in the UK to support financial services companies regulated by the FSA.
The Consulting Consortium has created a suite of products which will enable companies of all sizes to offer their employees a range of training opportunities through state of the art virtual scenarios played out at their desks, on their computer screens.
The Serious Learning programme offers training for a range of scenarios commonly encountered in businesses today. These include strategy, sales, finance, IT and as well as regulatory subjects such as treating customers fairly.
Although immersive learning is a very new field, it has already been shown to be highly effective as a learning tool and vastly more effective than standard classroom-based and e-learning methods.
