FSA Financial Risk Outlook 2010
The TCC team has analysed the FSA’s latest FRO and pulled out specific risks that might impact your sector. We’ve done all the hard work, so you simply have to read this précis.Every March, the FSA publishes its ‘Financial Risk Outlook’, which highlights significant developments in the environment within which the FSA operates. The FRO’s conclusions are a key element in the FSA's priority-setting arrangements which are set out in its Business Plan. By publishing the FRO, the FSA seeks to raise awareness of the key issues facing the FSA and the regulated industry and to place the actions and decisions the FSA makes in context.
Following a thorough examination of the FRO, the TCC team deems that the following information is relevant to the asset management, banking, general insurance and retail intermediaries sectors.
Building societies additional guidance
The FSA issued new guidelines to building societies in March 2010. In this document we summarise those areas which the FSA has identified as key to managing the risks facing this sector.
